I was reminded of this Dawn Soap commercial when i read the Patagonia feature. Like the dwindling river, the Gulf was also harmed by man. But just like the ending of the Patagonia article, the animals in this video end up OK.
I found the video to be very powerful even though not much was verbalized.The video really depicts how something so innocent and harmless can be attacked and damaged by the things that humans do. This also parallels with the Patagonia article. It describes how the things we thought should be natural and beautiful become ravished and tarnished because of the things that we do. Because of our own needs and wants for more materialistic things we compromise the clean and pristine aspects of nature.
